Biography
Italian make-up artist Giannetto De Rossi (1942–2021) was a prolific practitioner of practical prosthetics and on-set make-up effects for genre cinema. He is credited on several cult horror titles — notably House By The Cemetery and Killer Crocodile 2 — and also worked on non-horror genre films such as Cy Warrior. De Rossi’s hands-on effects and prosthetic make-up played a significant role in shaping the visual impact of many Italian horror and creature-feature productions during his career.
