After a wealthy, overeating lawyer accidentally kills a Romani woman with his car and uses his influence to escape punishment, the victim’s community places a curse on him. He begins to lose weight at an alarming, uncontrollable rate; as his health and life deteriorate, he desperately searches for a way to lift the curse, leading to moral reckonings and violent confrontations.
