Dawn Of The Dead Check 1978 Cheque

Production cheque used during the making of the classic zombie movie, Dawn of the Dead.

These are usually stamped “Dawn of the Dead” and signed by George A. Romero, some are also signed by other  people such as Richard Rubinstein (Producer) or Vincent Survinski (Business Manager).  Obtained from Night of the Living Dead co-author John Russo.

A really neat piece of zombie movie history sought after by fans and very suitable for framing.

Cheque number 1741

Signed by the late director, George A Romero and is dated March 13, 1978.

This item is also signed on the reverse by Thomas Lytle, Thomas was a biker in Dawn of the Dead and this was his payment of $100 for his time on screen.

Vincent Survinski was the Business Manager on Dawn of the Dead, Vince also starred as the posse gun man in Night of the Living Dead,  he also signed the cheque on the front.
