“We Are Going To Eat You” was the promise made by grisly old worm-face on the movie posters for Lucio Fulci’s 1980 gore fest, “Zombie.”
Here’s an extremely rare resin model of that moldy poster boy, professionally painted, ready to display. This piece dates back to the 1990’s, being an early release by KDM Productions. The sickening sculpt is the work of William Paquet, who crafts a perfect portrait of the horrid flesh eater that looks every bit as nasty as its cinematic counterpart – worms, rot, ‘n all.
Cleanly cast in solid off-white resin, this fetid fellow is roughly 1/5 scale, measuring 5 1/2″ tall x 6 1/2″ wide x 6″ deep. This one has been painted in authentic Fulci colors, and properly soiled for that “fresh from the grave” look.
Make no mistake, this God-awful ghoul is 50 times rarer than any other of those moist models that KDM and Paquet produced, and one that hasn’t ever been re-issued by others. So if you have a taste for Italian red sauce, eat hearty!
