Exhumed Films teams with the Mahoning Drive-In Theater for CAMP BLOOD XII, a four-night celebration of classic and modern horror over Labor Day weekend, September 3–6. The program focuses on slashers, survival terror and backwoods mayhem, with every title projected in 35mm and accompanied by vintage previews.
Highlights and programming
- Thursday, Sept. 3 — William Lustig’s MANIAC (1980).
- Friday, Sept. 4 — a night of 21st-century survival and shock horror: the 2009 FRIDAY THE 13TH remake, Neil Marshall’s THE DESCENT (2005), and James Wan’s SAW (2004).
- Saturday, Sept. 5 — a Gap Theatre matinee features SILENT MADNESS in 3-D (3-D glasses provided) and ANGUISH (1987). That evening returns to the drive-in for EVIL DEAD II, TUCKER AND DALE VS. EVIL and CABIN FEVER.
- Sunday, Sept. 6 — the festival closes with SLAUGHTER HIGH, EVILSPEAK and MASSACRE AT CENTRAL HIGH.
Beyond the screenings, CAMP BLOOD XII includes camp games on Friday and Saturday nights (starting around 6pm) with sponsor prizes, limited-edition event merchandise, live DJs, themed food, raffles, vendors, cosplay and photo opportunities. All screenings are planned rain or shine.
Gates, showtimes and tickets
- Gates open at 6pm on Thursday and Sunday; showtime at sundown.
- Gates open at 5pm on Friday and Saturday; showtime at sundown.
- Thursday general admission: $10; General+Extended: $20.
- Friday, Saturday or Sunday general tickets: $20 per person per day; General+Extended: $30 per person per day.
- Weekend PASS: General+Extended for all four days: $110 (weekend pass does not include the Gap matinee double-bill).
