Screen‑used Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) razor‑blade glove made for Ronny Yu’s Freddy vs. Jason. Created by armorer Lem le Mercier to the established Nightmare on Elm Street glove designs, the glove is a modified stockman’s leather glove (Watson Gloves of Vancouver leather) with the palm trimmed away. Copper metal plating is riveted to the backplate with single pivot‑point finger joints and steel claw‑style razor blades soldered to the fingertips. This example shows smoothed solder work, a leather strip with three brass washers affixed to the backplate (a production‑added distinguishing detail), intentional battlefield distressing, soot on the leather and dulled blades. Actor Robert Englund requested comfort and design modifications after the prototype; the glove underwent sympathetic restoration to replace a rivet on one finger mount.
