Trick or Treat Studios has unveiled a new multi-piece collectible that recreates the infamous 1974 dinner scene from The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. The deluxe playset is produced in a 5-inch scale and is being offered for pre-order through Entertainment Earth.
What’s in the set
- Articulated 5-inch figure of Sally
- Articulated 5-inch figure of Grandpa, including his rocking chair
- Dining table and a single arm chair
- Three custom bone-backed chairs
- Assorted macabre tabletop and room accessories: basin tub, skull, armadillo, pelvis bone, sledgehammer box, two mug-and-saucer sets, and a water glass
The set is intended for adult collectors and was created to evoke the gritty, confined atmosphere of the Sawyer family dining room. Trick or Treat Studios emphasized attention to period and screen details across the furniture and small accessories.
Additional figures
The release notes that the full family can be represented with additional 5-inch figures that are not included in the dinner scene boxed set. Specifically, The Cook, the Hitchhiker, and Leatherface are listed as separate items.
Pre-orders are being handled exclusively by Entertainment Earth, where the dinner scene playset is currently available to reserve. The announcement frames the product as a tribute to an influential independent horror film and aims to appeal to collectors seeking a screen-accurate diorama piece.
