What to expect
The story follows Brad (Michael Kunicki) and his wife Julia (Nena Martins) after Brad inherits his late uncle’s run-down home. While surveying the property, the couple uncover an ancient demonic idol hidden inside the house. What begins as an odd discovery quickly escalates: the idol exerts a corrupting influence, and Brad begins to change.
Visual and behavioral transformations mark his descent. His eyes turn an unnaturally yellow hue and a mysterious black oil begins to appear, signs that the artifact’s power is taking hold. As the idol’s influence spreads beyond Brad, it preys on human longing and vice; the film frames the entity as one that amplifies desire into dependency and requires blood to sustain itself.
Julia becomes the story’s center of resistance, desperate to find answers and to stop the force consuming her husband before he is fully overtaken. The material in the exclusive clip teases the film’s blend of possession, addiction and psychological horror.
For viewers interested in contemporary possession tales that lean into bodily and psychological corruption, YELLOW EYES positions itself as a streaming-first entry with an emphasis on transformation and escalating menace.
